Operations Manager

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our oyster farm, ensuring oysters are harvested, culled, packed, and shipped efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role is responsible for coordinating order workflows, managing inventory, ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining accurate records and paperwork, and keeping farm operations running smoothly.

The Operations Manager balances hands-on work on the water and in the packing facility with leadership, planning, logistics, inventory management, and continuous process improvement. They play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting the farm team, and helping the business grow.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable making independent decisions. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems, and are excited to help build and improve the operations of a growing small business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aquaculture, commercial fishing, agriculture, or marine operations

  • HACCP trained is a plus

  • Leadership or management experience

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to solve problems independently

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds

  • Experience operating boats and trailers (preferred)

  • Valid driver's license

Oyster Crew

We are looking for dedicated and motivated members to join our Oyster Crew. The ideal candidate is passionate about the outdoors, motivated to work hard, is detailed oriented, and works as a team player. No experience required, just a positive attitude and willingness to get hands dirty.

Requirements:
Must be 18 or older
Have reliable transportation
Able to lift 50lbs
Committed to working in a hot, humid, muddy environment
Interest in aquaculture, biology, environmental science is a plus

Oyster Shucker (part time)

We are looking for a handy group of people who can shuck at events. Think fancy raw bars at weddings, graduations, birthdays, or corporate events. Shuckers must be handy with an oyster shucking knife, personable, and willing to chat with attendees. Some travel may be required depending on location of events
